About

American Centrism is a blog devoted to a post-partisan political platform.  It is the opinion of the writer that the current arguments over policy within the media and in mainstream politics are polarized along the wrong axes.  People are seeking to do the wrong things, or (worse yet), the right things but for the wrong reasons.

This blog will focus on issues of policy and substance.  It will outline a platform for governance which is ideologically neutral at best since the political axis in America crosses rational boundaries.  Indeed, this is how the dialogue stays alive, because otherwise there would simply be a “right” and “wrong” option.   It will also discuss and comment on items from the media and current events, generally citing articles only from the paper of record.  This is a nationalist blog, and as such the only foreign policies which shall be entertained are those which are in the best interests of the United States (except obviously for those rare cases in which the interests of all of humanity are at stake).

It is also the belief of the author of this blog, that the opinions expressed herein, taken together, would create a party platform which would enjoy super-majority support in America (and virtually total “tolerance”).  This is crucially needed, now more than ever, to create an effective government which can act rapidly to solve the problems plaguing our nation and our planet.
